Q:   How much food?  

A:  On the morning tour, bring your appetite! You will be given a large bite and a beverage at each stop. On the Happy Hour tour you will be given an appetizer sized bite with a full beverage. You will not leave either hungry!

Q:  What if I have a dietary restriction?

A:  We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies and can almost always arrange something to suit your needs, however we cannot guarantee that each restaurant can accommodate. Our tours are appropriate for vegetarians, but more difficult for vegan or gluten free.  Please let us know before or at the time of reservation of any food allergies or diet restrictions so we can determine what the best option is for you. Q:  Are reservations required?

A:  Advanced reservations are required.  We must arrange in advance with all of our wonderful vendors and it is very difficult to accommodate last minute drop-ins. If a tour has already been removed from our booking availability, but you would like to join us, please call our office at (209) 294-8677 to see if we have space and accommodate your request.  We would love to have you, so please call us, but please, no drop-in!

Q:  Is there a minimum and maximum group size?

A:  Yes!  Our minimum group size is 4 and maximum is 12.  These group sizes allow us to provide a more personal experience for everyone.

Q:  What if there are less than 4 people on a tour?

A:  In very rare instances, we must cancel tours due to low attendance of less than 4 people. We will notify you and issue you a full refund with 48 hours of the tour start time if the tour is cancelled. 

Q:  What is your cancellation policy?

A:  Read about our cancellation policy and terms and conditions of ticket purchase HERE. All guests must agree to the terms and conditions during the ticket purchase process.

Q:  What if it rains?

A:  Our tours take place rain or shine! Please wear comfortable, weather appropriate shoes and clothing.  We always have umbrellas available for your use during the tour if needed.

Q:  Are children allowed?

A:  All of our tours are 21 years of age or older.  For the full enjoyment of all of our adult guests, and that alcohol is served, children are not allowed.

Q:  Can I bring my pet?

A:  We are dog lovers too!  As much as we would love to have Sparky join us, due to the health and safety of all of our guests, animals are not allowed on any of our tours.

Q:  How much walking?

A:  Our tours are culinary walking tours that take place in downtown Lodi.  We do not walk more than a mile, and we keep the pace slow to moderate. The tours are on city sidewalks that are flat.  We will not walk the entire time, and there are many opportunities to sit down and rest along the way.

Q:  Do I tip the tour guides?

A:  If you had a great time while on tour and want to recognize your guide for great service, 15-20% is standard in the tourism industry.  Our guides work hard to provide you with a fun and informative atmosphere while on tour and we highly recommend a reward for their performance!

Q:  Where do I park?

A:  We meet at the steps of City Hall in downtown Lodi.  The parking lot next to City Hall has free unlimited parking on the weekends.  

Q:  Is there Alcohol served?

A:  Our culinary walking tours include several alcoholic beverages.  Please let us know if you would prefer non-alcoholic beverages as we will be happy to arrange that for you. Also please note that you may be carded by our vendors before being served alcohol, so please bring your ID if you would like to partake.
